Course Enrollment < 25

Before you request an exception to teaching inĀ dual delivery mode, first consider whether any of the following possibilities are feasible to meet the expectation of dual delivery instruction.

In lieu of teaching all of the students enrolled in your course in-person in a classroom,

  • can you (or your TAs) offer in-person recitation sessions?
  • can you (or your TAs) have in-person office hours by appointment?
  • can you split the class into small groups so that only one half or one third of the students attend each class session in person (i.e. reduce student density)?
  • can you (or your TAs) have in-person small group meetings to mentor group projects?

Please use the forms below to request exceptions:

– An exception to teaching in person due to health reasons or safety concerns

– An exception to teaching in dual modality due to course design/feasibility
